Gospel oak to Barking Line
Does anyone have any idea when this line will reopen? I've searched high and low and the best I got was "February 2017" if anyone has a specific date please let me know. It's adding an hour to my daily journey time having to get the tube everyday, not to mention having to buy an extra zone on my travelcard.

TfL are supposed to announcing the reopening date any time now after a post Xmas/New Year review. I wrote a comment piece for the Waltham Forest Echo just before Xmas, copy here http://tinyurl.com/jh5ysu3 . Since then the bridge over the Lea Navigation was reinstated over the New Year weekend and more Overhead Line masts have gone up but there is a lot of work still to do. I still expect the line to reopen on Mondays to Fridays from 27 February.
