Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Stove fitter wanted
Hi,
I'm looking for someone to fit a multi-fuel burning stove in my victorian fireplace. It is currently a fairly ineffective open fire.
Any recommendations?

We used Alan three or four years ago and he was great. He was able to guide us through the 'to line or not to line the flue' question - confirming our (Danish) experience that a lot of flue-lining is based on fear tactics of unscrupulous fitters who make money on fitting them unnecessarily. If you do use him and can remember to, please let me know how it goes - we have moved house and want to use him again to put in another stove for us. I hope it all goes well - it's so wonderful having a stove ticking over in the wintertime.
