Have you lost a kitten?

My neighbours in Stanhope Gardens are trying to find the owner of a grey stripey kitten ....

They have taken the kitten to a local vet - unfortunately she isn't micro-chipped

It's good that your neighbours have taken the kitten inside safe and sound. It's a pity that she's not microchipped.

I've mentioned her to Stokey Cats and Dogs as they are good at helping with lost and found pets (and also checking for proof of ownership if someone claims her). There are useful tips on their website in respect of found cats.
Rescue places advise kitten owners not to let kittens outside (although accidents happen!) until they have been neutered and microchipped. Kittens need to be neutered at around 4 months old, otherwise kittens will have kittens!
