London In Bloom - Gold and overall winner for the Gardens Community Garden (GRA)

John and I returned back on Wednesday afternoon from leafy Richmond from the prestigious London In Bloom 2016 awards presentation. 

This year the GRA entered two categories 

“RHS- Its your Neighbourhood Award (IYNA) which we won ‘Outstanding level 5’ again and have done so for the last 6 -7  years. 

Further to this we entered a new category to replace the ‘Best Community Garden in London Award’ (which we won in 2006) called ‘Our Community Award 2016’ 

We were over the moon to come away with a GOLD Award in this category, but not only that we were the Overall Winners of this category with 91 points out of 100 with Gold and overall Winner.

This is truly spectacular 

Id like to thank everyone who helps out in the garden.
