HI Dominik, what kind of skirting did you get? This is something I need done at some point. Are you ripping out old skirting?

I reclaim most stuff on the Ladder, double doors, architrave, reclaimed skirting is the holly grail...

Note: dipping can weaken joints, you will need to rotate doors so they dry out evenly, and away from heaters to avoid warping, or you could nail in situ. Rub down timber with steel wool and vinegar to neutralise the timber, (and get rid of the smell,) (do wear gloves.)
