Chase Windows. They've replaced all of our Sashes.

Thanks for this tip. I just called them and spoke to Ryan their sales guy. Their prices are very competitive and the finished product sounds good. I'm very tempted ... just need to arrange the finance.

Hi, if you want to come and see ours just send me a dm.

thanks!

Best quote for sashes - complete replacement I've see yet is http://www.naturalwindows.com/ - around £800 per unit including VAT. Some local places charge double that.

Hamid at Parsa Joinery is very competitive and recommended on here:

If you want Upvc sashes then Barnet Windows are great but not cheap. They did 3 windows for me. I'm very happy with the quality. Rough cost is a £1000-1200 a window.

I used Camden Box Frame - I liked them because they were prepared to replace the bottom sashes only where that was all that was required which saved us a few bob.  They were also prepared to install an entirely new single-glazed unit to a separate window in the same room as a bay window which had single glazing - I think you are required these days to have double glazed units which are much more expensive wherever you replace the whole window.

We used Hamid for our french doors and a stained glass sash- very good quality and great customer service.

Are you on Hewitt, Tris?  There is a house midway down who just had all of their sashes replaced and my golly does it look amazing.  We stopped and talked to them once but i can't remember their names.  They were doing a lot of work to their house and i was keen to have a good nose around:)

I concur with Tris,
Axe joinery are currently installing our wooden sash with double glazing.
Not the cheapest Windows but good quality.
Bay and first floor Windows are done but we are waiting for the back windows to be installed.
The installers are very good with attention to detail and the finish and the decorators are making a really good job making good.
PM if you want come and see them.

But that's 1500 a window*! Way beyond what I could pay alas.

We had or sashes overhauled by Acorn. A great job from a local company. Dominic is great.

Acorn sash windows refurbished mine a couple of years ago. Still looking good and Dominic was great to deal with. Based on Green Lanes.
