Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good, trustworthy, local window cleaner? Ideally one that doesn't mind hanging out of the rear windows of our first floor flat so that we don't have to negotiate access to the neighbours garden.... What's the going rate for a window cleaner these days?!

ask ellis on  07832 234722 - he is good

There seem to be two types of window cleaner. The type with a web presence that has a minimum charge of around £40, and the type that has a regular round that gets his business through word of mouth. All my relatives up North have one of these, and they charge about £7 a time and do pretty much the whole street. Obviously I'd expect London to be a bit more expensive and the terraced housing makes rear access tricky but does this sort of service exist round here?

I've never got around to using him, but I saw a window cleaner on my road on The Ladder a while ago and asked for his card. I have no idea if he is any good or not, but by coincidence I was cleaning out my handbag this morning and came across his card.

I would highly recommend Daniel, he cleans windows from the inside, gets them spotless, inside and out.  He is based in Tottenham, lovely guy and very accommodating about timings:  http://www.cleantouchwindowcleaning.co.uk/

+1 for Daniel.  I've used him for a couple of years now.  Talk about accommodating: I let him down horribly yesterday and he was really nice about it.  But be aware that he left the country for 3 months last year and is likely to do similar in the future although he will give due warning.
