I cannot quite believe there are no comments about this!!!!  All of the cuts to elderly services over the previous 5 years and yet THIS is allowed to happen.  Come on all you HOLiners - is this acceptable?

Because it's actually a non-story... in order to close the under-occupied and crumbling Town Hall (with rising maintenance costs and crap infrastructure), the Council would have to find a new office first. The Town Hall could then be demolished to make way for desperately needed affordable housing. The capital expenditure would be recouped in a few years and save money.
