Shooting on Green Lanes Last Night
According to the BBC, someone was shot by police during a robbery on Green Lanes last night, around midnight. Not much more information given so far except that 5 people arrested and person shot appears to have been one of the robbers. Anyone know anything more?

of course you can always go live in a country where the government shares your opinions on 'justice'. no ? not interested ? i thought not.
it really is pathetic to live in a liberal democracy and take advantage of the freedom it provides yet spit upon the blood spilt fighting for that very freedom.
lets get this right - something is reported in the news - therefore it is true ?

readiing between the lines i would say the police had inteligence of a robbery and ambushed the gang.
looking at the picture in the sun i can't think of anywhere in that vicinity that would be a 'traditional' target for an armed hold up. the junction of green lanes and north circular also has cctv cameras. nowdays you have to be crazy to do any kind of serious law breaking with so many cameras watching our every move.
