Except that Harringay is a nicer name and "the Harringay Ladder" is just one side. Looks like the sub-editor did the headline though. Sigh.

And Music & Beans further down towards the bridge. And Brouhaha a nice alternative to the Salisbury. But a couple of the flagship Turkish restaurants are gone- the Erenler long since now and more recently the Bingol, later the Flame. I used that a lot and got to know the proprietor- a really nice place for an evening meal.

Then one day they'd gone as people do, and as usual the new folk professed complete ignorance of where. Anybody know? It's had a few changes since, none a patch on the old Bingol.
