Good architect for a side extension?
We are thinking about embarking on a side extension but would like to speak to an architect to find out the art of the possible. Has anyone had this work done and could recommend a good architect / structural engineer who we could speak to? Thanks

I would give A2studio a call. Www.a2studio.co.uk. They have lots of experience with extensions and are local - Tottenham Lane, N8 . My friend worked with them to have an extension done to her house in Warwick Gardens and they were very happy with the service.

^ Search for RIBA registered architects by postcode. Not all of them will be affordable, but almost all will do a better job than an unregistered "architectural services" outfit. Look at their websites for ideas and a record of projects completed locally.
