Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

What's up Harringay!

We are looking for a childminder or a nursery along the ladder for our little guy in May (when he will be  a 1 year old). He insists he can look after himself, but we decided its best we get a professional to look after him. At least until he is 2.

We need childcare for Monday - Wednesday, 9 to 5, starting mid May.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. But don't expect a 'thank you' from him. A 'ssppgffff bo bee' maybe.

Thanks.

Our little chap went to Little Jewels in Cavendish Road who I cannot recommend highly enough. Don't be put off by the slightly shabby hall. The staff are fantastic and they have a really great inclusive ethos, with all ages (1-5) in together. I loved the range of things they did there and my son flourished in their care. Their rates are very reasonable and I was always struck by the calm and loving atmosphere.

Thanks for the reply. It sounds awesome. We are actually already on the waiting list there.

Our first went to Little Jewels, which was very good & the second went to Woodlands Park Nursery, which is also very good (though hard to get into, depending mainly on your distance from it).

Yes Woodlands are good too. The one friends have reported as being very over-priced for no apparent "added value" is the Orange Day Nursery. Not bad in any way - just expensive.

Thanks for all the replies.

As mentioned we are down on the waiting list for Little Jewels. Would anyone else be able to recommend another Childminder in the area?

Many thanks.
