Barely alive cat dumped at the Mayhew
This cat Rocky was brought in to the Mayhew in a terrible state. It's a real shame that Rocky wasn't brought in sooner as she must have been suffering for weeks. She was about ten years old, emaciated, dehydrated, with puss running out of her mouth.
The Mayhew says if your pet is ill, please don't let them get into such a neglected state of suffering. It's much better to contact the Mayhew sooner for help, they won't judge you, they will always try to help the pet.

Unfortunately Rocky was brought in too late to save her. She was made comfortable with pain relief. She was freezing cold when brought in, she was given love and warmth and made comfortable, but unfortunately she had to be put to sleep to relieve her suffering as she was too far gone to save.
