Harringay Food Assembly online market is now open!
Hi everyone,
The Harringay Food Assembly online market is now open!
You can now login to get to know the current producers and browse over 100 products, creating a shopping basket as you go. We currently have seven producers offering a range of vegetables, fruit, fish, bread, meat and more - but do also keep an eye out for new producers joining over the next couple of weeks.
It's worth reading up on the producer profiles as you may discover some unexpected facts - Brambletye fruit farms, for example, also offer biodynamic eggs from hens raised around their orchards; Gozo Deli are a cheesemaker with a difference - their range is made using live cultures and cashew nuts; and every loaf from The Dusty Knuckle is part of a vision that goes way beyond bread.
Once you've placed your order your food choices will then be delivered to the first collection at the Salisbury on Wednesday 27th January - we'd recommend you coming along after 6.30pm as it would be great to get the community connected as much as possible. (The online market will stay open until two days before the collection.)

This sounds a good idea, will have a look in at the Salisbury on Wednesday,at 6:30pm ? I assume anyone can turn up?

Yes anyone can turn up! (Although all food orders for collection can only be made online up until Monday 25th ).

I tried to order online and I have to tell you despite being a regular online shopper, your system has me flummoxed. I can select an item, but can't see a buy, pay, or checkout type button anywhere. I've received no reply to my question via your website.

Hi Hugh,
This is strange - it sounds to me like you are going into the 'Producers' area and viewing their product catalogues (which is a separate area from online sales.)
When you login to the site, you should arrive on the homepage. (Or to get to the homepage move the mouse to the left of the screen, the menu will expand and you can click on 'home' at the top.)
Once on the homepage there is a large orange button labelled 'Choose the Products' in the center of the screen, next to 'Collection Wed 27th January'. If you click this button you'll be in the online market area where you can select products and add them to your basket etc.
