Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Opened at long last just before Xmas.  Costly.  I didn't like the service style of trying to smooth talk people into buying the ready fried fish sitting there.  But the F&C is good.  I'd given up on the charming George on Tottenham Lane after a couple of instances of semi-rotten cod and reverted back to the Priory Fish Bar.  I think if they keep the standards up then Cannon's is worth it, albeit no longer that cheap and cheerful takeaway alternative.  They could do with providing seating for those waiting for their fish to fry.

How long ago did this happen at Georges?

The one on St Ann's Rd is good...not sure of the name but it's just off Green Lanes.

Also Georges and yes good value!

We always use this Georges and always good

Cannon's also have a restaurant next door. We had a good experience there at the weekend and will return, though we still prefer Fish Fish further away on the Archway Road.
Been to their Southgate restaurant before. It was alright, nothing special and REALLY pricy. In my opinion Fish n Chips is not Fish n Chips unless you get them at the seaside.

Quite right, and wrapped in newspaper.

Cannon's offer a lunch box £5.95 Tues-Fri which I tried   fish 3/4 size and 1/2 chips   ideal for me, good value and good tasty lunch
