Jam in a Jar re-opens 1st December

As the post title says Jam is re-opening (Tue) 1st Dec (news here) ... with a week of music/celebrations etc. Just in time for all that Xmas partying :)

I'll believe it when I see it! I've seen lots of speculation about when/if it's reopening. I love the place, despite the awful loos and often-grumpy staff, so hope it's for real this time and has improved.

Just bumped into Quto (the owner) who confirmed that the toilets have been re-furbed, as well as the kitchen, bar area and flooring. There's also a new awning & security grill outside with new signage up soon. The design inside is still the same (thank goodness) despite all the works.

As I understand it. much of the work that's been undertaken has been sound-proofing required by planning.
