Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
rewiring of flat-recommendations
My stepson has bought a flat in Palmers Green and an electrician has had a look at the wiring and declared it to be substandard and old. He's not registered with the local authority so can't do the job with appropriate paper work. Anyone got any recommendations for this kind of work? Looks like a full rewire and certification job....grateful for any help here....

John Crowther. Pretty sure his details are elsewhere in HoL if you do a search but pm me if you can't find them. He rewired our lighting circuit and did an excellent job, most notably in keeping cosmetic damage to a minimum. Even professional decorators have praised his work since.

If you don't have any luck with the other reccomendation Ed Garrett on here as well, very good comes highly reccomended as well. Just fitted a new fuse box for me and did a wiring and socket test he is certified with the local council and reasonably priced. Won't rip you off. Contact info@ecg-electrical.co.uk
