A small tabby cat (a few months old) has been roaming around the middle section of Duckett road for the last few day, especially at night time. He is very vocal and likes to chase other cats, trying to play with them. He's outside my flat right now, chasing my cat. I am just a bit worried as he keeps crossing the road back and forth and nearly got hit by a car.
I am pretty sure he was wearing a blue collar a few days ago, but now he doesn't seem to have one. Maybe he is lost. Please let me know if you know this cat. I have attached a couple of pictures.
Thanks

Well done for flagging it up. You're right - it's not safe for a cat to be on the roadside. It's even more dangerous when it's a young cat and at night - the risk of it getting hit by a car is high. Maybe it's lost. Hopefully someone will recognise it.
If someone can keep it inside tonight until any owner found or checked for chip, that would be great. I'll flag it up to Stokey Cats and Dogs, maybe they can help or foster if needed until any owner found.
I managed to scan him, but he has no chip. Had to let him out again as he was driving my cat mental. Hopefully he will find his way home. If not I am sure he will be back tomorrow...
Well done for scanning, it's a pity the cat's not chipped. Let's hope the cat has an owner.
I encourage owners to get their cats (and kittens) neutered and microchipped.
It's no one's fault if a cat gets lost, but owners can reduce the risk of their cats getting lost or injured by having a catflap for daytime use and locking it at night so that their cats are safe inside at night.
We can come now and pick him up. He'll be in a foster home until owners found. If owners are not found, we'll try to find him a good home. Could you please tell me where he is now? Or maybe you could just keep him for us until we come? I'm with Stokey Cats..and dogs, local group for lost/abandoned cats.
Hi Elzbieta, the cat has not showed up today, so hopefully he has found his way home. If I see him again I will let you know. I am pretty sure he has a owner, despite not being microchipped. It would be good if they kept him in at night, especially cause he is only a kitten. But there's only so much we can do about irresponsible owners...
Thanks for trying to help!
