Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Jon Danzig's October 2015 speech for the European Centre for Press & Media Freedom, Leipzig, Germany on how some British newspapers promote hatred of refugees and migrants.

I'm aware that this is a national, rather than local issue and Danzig makes it quite clear in the video, that millions of Brits are not racist. But he also claims that Britain is now on what GenocideWatch.net calls 'step 3' on the '8 steps to genocide'.

I would just like that people listen to what he has to say and make up their own minds on this issue.  I haven't closed the posting or disallowed comments, this is a serious issue, which concerns me very much, but I would prefer if we all kept our thoughts to ourselves.

I agree with the headline. There is a dichotomy here though; immigrants are both bad for people, and good for people. Not always the same people either.

Ideally in most English people's minds we would take in people with our cultural values, who look like us, are well educated, who speak English, are healthy and happy. Nigel Farage summarises these people as doctors from New Zealand. It also helps that there are not many people in New Zealand and it's a nice place to live anyway so they won't earn the epithet "swarm" without a bit of effort.

What about a Syrian doctor? Are we taking them because they're good for the economy (we are short of doctors, aren't we?) or because they're going to get blown up, along with their families, if they stay in Syria and we feel responsible and sympathetic?

With a Chancellor who has just laid out a plan to reduce the money supply and is enshrining it in law, where will these people get the money to live in England if they're not taking it from the people already here? It will be a generation before they're adding to GDP and in the mean time they will contribute to deflation as they're not going to be bidding up prices or wages (how can they?).

Sorry for not keeping my opinion to myself. I just don't think racism is Britain is entirely the fault of the people who live here but as you have correctly pointed out, the foreign Oligarchy owned media.

Good shout posting this Stephen - hard not to speak out, as the age old 'sayings' go:

“first they came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant.

Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up.”

Beware of Jon Danzig's left wing propaganda.

The British press are a very good voice for their readers, public opinion and common sense. They reflect democracy at it's best. Danzig does not defend or like the press.

There are 1.8 million people on a waiting list for social housing in the UK. 750,000 young people are out of work.

Allowing economic migrants to abandon their country and add to the above problems does the working class in this country no favours and increases their hardship for housing and jobs.

The UK has the best economy in Europe and the failure of mostly Left wing governments around the world should not mean we have to pick up their issues. We should campaign to make those governments more accountable and successful, like our popular and recently elected government. Now very high in the opinion polls! Don't you love our democracy and our newspapers!
