Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I know this has been asked before, but it's not come up for a while. We have just accepted an offer on our flat and now need a conveyancing solicitor.

I have been looking at old threads and seen some recommendations - would anyone be able to make any more - or recommend who we should avoid? We really want someone local or local-ish.

Many thanks!

Hi Emma, I sold in Stokey last year and used Barnes & Partners on Church St., and think they also have an office in Harringey. They were really good.

I have used John Bailey twice now and found him really good:

Rich, Foster and Bailey

157 Tottenham Lane

London N8 9BT

020 8340 2481

He only focuses on conveyancing and so knows what he is doing. He also acted for me on a complex lease extension, and got that fully resolved.

Hi Emma

Luke Vignali at Streathers highgate (next to the station) is excellent, I have recommended him to many people and all are really pleased with his personal and professional service.

Streathers Highgate LLP
Tuscan Studios, 14 Muswell Hill Road,

Highgate, London N6 5UG

Hi Emma,

Did you go with Streathers in the end? If so would you recommend them? If you went with somebody else could you give me some feedback on them? I am obviously looking for a solicitor for the same kind of work as you were last year.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Roger

Hi Roger don't mean to but in but we used Streathers - Kevin Tarpey for conveyancing. He was brilliant. We've had a couple of really bad/mediocre solicitors but we were consistently impressed with Kevin's skills and professionalism. He made sure our conveyancing - which was a really awkward chain - proceeded as smoothly as possible. I'd highly recommend him.

Thanks for the replies much appreciated.

2wanda do you have a name for who you used at Barnes & Partners. Susie I tried Jon Bailey but I'm afraid the number no longer seems to work

Mmn that's odd. Perhaps John Bailey has retired - that would be a blow. Good luck finding someone good, Emma.
