We used www.barnetwindowcompany.co.uk and they did an excellent job. They've done a lot of windows on the ladder. Ask for Tommy and he'll come round and give you a quote. They're a family business, there's no hard sell.
Sadly they will only do the minimum of 3 windows. Thanks though
There are always certain things you have to consider whenever you choose a window for replacement. Always pay close attention to the U-factor number. This number ranges from 0.20-1.20. It tells you how efficient your window is, lower the U-factor number more efficient is the window. The U-factor helps in the trapping the heat inside and keeps your home warm without having to pay extra bills. Secondly check how energy efficient your window is, in terms of energy efficiency fiberglass is the best because of its durability.Look for windows with high R-value, R-value is a measure of thermal resistance, it's the opposite of U-factor.Choose windows with low e-coatings,it helps in controlling the heat transfer and lastly always choose windows that are certified by energy star. Here is an article that mentions in detail all the factors that you would have to consider while buying a window for replacement http://www.clerawindows.com/blog/4-ways-to-know-youre-choosing-the-right-windows/
