Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi.

I'm currently applying for jobs and it's becoming more and more apparent that I'm going to need to seriously brush up on my Excel and Powerpoint skills.  I've worked in a business environment for the last 14 years but I barely used either of them.    I have some knowledge of Excel but Powerpoint is a new one on me.  In an ideal world I'd like to just receive some concentrated tuition which doesn't require weekly attendance.  Anything tailored to the individual  which I've seen online feels like it's geared towards businesses sending their staff off training for a day/half day and therefore charging "corporate" prices.   Also because I have some knowledge, I think I would benefit a lot more from something bespoke to just top up what I do know.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Regina

If you already have some basic IT skills then there are loads of free online courses from places like Lynda, Udemy or even YouTube videos that can take you through both basics and advanced topics on any imaginable software package.

Even if the courses aren't free, there's frequently a free trial period.
Udemy is a good start, as previously suggested. Try this for excel for example: https://www.udemy.com/topics/excel/
