Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

A very distressed Tabby cat is crying on my door step in Seymour Road. It doesn't have a collar. The cat does not appear to be injured but it cries if approached. I have contacted the cat protection league and RSPCA who can offer no help. I have attached a picture, sorry it is a bit small!

Can you put a bowl of water out for it?

I have but it doesn't seem interested and is still crying!

Well done for helping the cat! Best thing to do is get it safe inside. If its crying or distressed, its probably hungry or injured. Once inside, you can check the cat for any injury and try to take another photo which is close up, showing its whole face.

There are a few missing cats locally, here's one example

You can put details of a found cat on www.animalsearchuk.co.uk

A private vet will scan for free to see if microchipped, if you are able to put it in a secure cage and take it to vet. www.villagevet.co.uk are very good.

Better photo of cat:

That's a good photo. Hopefully someone will recognise it. Maybe it's an indoor cat which has escaped through a window and is now confused or a cat which has got out the front door by mistake and only knows the back garden area.

The cat has just been reunited with it's owner.

That's great news.

thats great news,
