My friend has bought the most amazing wardrobe.
Only problem is it's too big to go upstairs .
Unless you have a team of men with amazing
Powers.
It's old and has downing rods to hold it
Together . Anyone know if it's possible and
Could take it apart and rebuild it upstairs??

Is there any chance of forwarding some pics showing construction. I suspect that if it's old and well made (eg no screws) that dismantling it would require a majorish reconstruction - not ideal. Do you know if it would go up stairs if we rounded up enough 'muscle'?

For delivery but would be happy to pay for
Dismantle reconstruction or a big lift !!

Hi Anita. I expect 3-4 people should be able to manoeuvre it up stairs and I suspect it would fit through a doorway provided it can be laid length ways. It would be good to remove the cornice and should be relatively easy to refit - clearly won't help the weight but they are prone to damage. If your friend is local I think you would get volunteers from HOL. Put me down so another 3 should do it!
