This is an invitation to join the Wisdom for Women free 30 weeks Fitness Project which started on the 04/12/14. This is sponsored by Haringey Active and we have sessions twice weekly on Thursdays & Fridays from 10am - 12pm @ 136 West Green Road, see Flyers below
We have gradually increased our membership from 6 to 14 / Session and have a variety of exercising equipment. We are fortunate to have two Trained Level 2 Fitness Instructors who specifically structure their exercises to suit individuals. This ranges from - low impact for ladies new to exercising / have medical issues, to high impact for the more energetic. The exercise sessions with the Instructor is from 10am - 11am, followed by 1 hour on the equipment provided - this is optional. Looking forward to seeing some new faces on the 11th & 12th June.
The Sessions are welcoming, lively, fun and the ladies are all very supportive of each other.

Good stuff. Plus not many people know that everyone over 65 in the borough gets free access to everything in the Council/Fusion sports centres - off-peak 9-5 M-F only, and pay £6-odd for a membership card. This is not in exactly huge letters on the Fusion info site.
Thank you Pamish. Our 30 weeks do not incur any charges and we provide water and fruits as part of the Sessions.
Not a competition. Are your classes connected to the church that's on the front of the building?
Pamish, the Grant was given to the Wisdom for Women International, which is a part of the Church. This has no direct bearing on the Gym Sessions, everyone is welcomed and face no talk of religion. Our main interest is to assist women to be healthier, to enjoy exercising and to meet other women from the Borough.
Is there any chance this might be offered to women who work during the week? Thanks

Just been to this class for the first time - very welcoming, and the instructor was clear and encouraging to all of us (about 15 people). Plus a free banana!
