I have been trying to contact PALS re someone unhappy at their treatment at St Ann's hospital. The helpful switchboard person gave me their(offsite) number and said that though they were supposed to be on site, he' never come across them. The number rings to a generalised message service which asks you for what name you want and when you select 'operator' it says there isn't one. When I then call the London PALS it rings and then goes to a full mailbox. Seems they don't actually exist! Anyone got any ideas? I'm actually considering taking legal advice, but am supposed to exhaust the appeals procedure first, but of course can't do that as I can't contact PALS!

Hi, there is some contact info here for the relevant mental health trust Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. Also listed is Healthwatch Haringey, who may also be able to help

Thanks guys, but these are exactly the people I have been trying to contact.....
You should email the complaints team for their mental health trust complaints@beh-mht.nhs.uk
If that doesn't work, you can email the chief executive chiefexecutive@beh-mht.nhs.uk
Thanks KiKi. I kind of didn't bother to email but it has borne results. Turns out that St Ann's swithchboard was giving out retired numbers! FYI the Patient Experience Advisor is on 02087026705. Voicemail of course, but we'll see....
I have now been able to talk to them on that number. Thanks for responses.
It's worth asking them about their inaccessibility, which could act to disempower the public from raising issues and making complaints.
I would tweet the Trust of which St Ann's is part - Barnet, Enfield and HAringey, or post on their Facebook page. Or ring their Communications Department. And you could contact the Haringey Clinical Commissioning Group, which monitors the quality services they commission. Also contact CQC? Your MP?
