Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I have been feeding a cat as a favour for an elderly lady in hospital who is likely to need nursing care in a home.
Her cat is home alone and needs a permanent home.
I think he is about 2 years old.
His name is Tuppence.
He is black with a white bib and paws.
He is neutered, but I don't think he is microchipped or inoculated. The social worker says she can arrange this if necessary. He seems healthy. He is very friendly.
I have 3 cats and a dog and cannot adopt him, much as I would like to.
Can you help?

Not that one Stephen.
Tuppence lives in a sheltered housing complex off The Roundway N17.

Cheers - mine had the same colouring, but that is too far....

Well done for helping them out. It always helps to attract interest if you can attach a close up photo of the cat. Hopefully someone can offer Tuppence a good home. You're right, when a new owner is found, microchipping is a good thing to do, in case he gets lost.

It's a good idea to also contact www.cinnamon.org.uk/cinnamon-trust/ just in case they can help in terms of fostering the cat or helping to find a long term home. The Cinnamon Trust is a great charity which helps elderly people with pets. (More volunteers on a national basis are always needed. They also have a Pet Friendly Care Home Register).

Thank you Justine.
I'll take and post a photo and contact The Cinnamon Trust.
Here are a couple of photos of Tuppence looking cute.

Tuppence looks like a lovely little cat!

I showed Tuppence's photo to a friend and they know someone who is potentially interested in offering him a home, ideally after Easter. If you message me, I can pass on their details to you.

Tuppence has a lovely new home in Sevenoaks. Thank you Justine and Harringayonline.

I'm really glad it all worked out for Tuppence. He has settled in well and had a good Easter weekend and is running the house already! I know you've seen these photos already Kieran, but I thought it would be nice to put them on here to show Tuppence happy in his new home in Sevenoaks.

Good idea. Thanks Justine.
