Loft conversion recommendations

After speaking with and receiving quotes from 4 different firms we settled in Rooftop rooms primarily because their start date fitted with our timing better. They are due to start with us in the next few weeks. The quotes were much of a muchness, but Rooftops included more detail. One of the bigger plus points for us is with Rooftop is they have a dedicated team in the office and a project manager assigned to our project so communication has been and should be pain free.... Time will tell. We saw a couple of their completed lofts done locally and was impressed with the finish and both families were pleased with their experience with Rooftop.

Hi I recently had my living room and corridor refurbished and I am very happy with the company I used Tom&Raf Build Ltd.  They are very friendly, helpful, professional and tidy.  I was very impressed by the quality of the work carried out.  They kept their word on the time frame and estimated they had given me. But I've heard really good things about Rooftop Rooms too. Still trying to decide!

Hi guys. New to this forum.

I own a house in Harringay and wanted to get the loft converted. Recently had a quote from a number of companies that you guys mentioned and another company called Loft Conversion HQ (http://www.loftconversionhq.co.uk). Loft Conversion HQ quoted around 10k cheaper than the other companies. Is that something to be worried about as it just seems too cheap.

Don't go with a cheap builder, it'll cost you more in the long run!
