Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

DONATIONS WANTED!!

Next week (22 December) we are having a winter social for our visitors and our volunteers. There will be music, crafts, performances, a lovely lunch and there are rumours that Santa might appear...

In addition to this, we would like to give our visitors food to take away so they won't go hungry over the holiday season. But we need your help to do this! We are asking those who can and want to donate food to bring it to us so we can create a mini-foodbank.

Items that would be useful are: pasta, tinned tomatoes, lentils, rice, beans, tinned tuna, couscous, pasta sauce, cereals, potatoes, carrots, parsnips, UHT milk, tins of fruit, juice, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, chickpeas and baby food.

We would also be grateful to receive working Oyster cards, which we could give to our visitors. Often, transport costs are a big barrier for people on little or no income who need to access services, doctors, solicitors, etc around London. We can give them small sums of money towards those costs but we can't buy everyone an Oyster card. Please search your drawers and we'll happily take any spare cards off you!

It would be great if you could drop your donations at our centre (St John Vianney Church Hall, 386 West Green Rd, N15 3QL) on the 21st (Sunday) from 10-11am or from 12pm-1pm. If you are not able to drop them off, contact us on info@haringeymsc.org to organise a collection.

Thank you!

Will drop some things off on Sunday

Hi. We will drop some stuff off on Sunday too.

Many thanks for your donations! We had a great party on Monday, with three long tables full of food for people to take home. And each child got a present from our one and only Green Santa. Merry Christmas!
