Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Vote for One of Four Harringay Restaurants in 2015 Kebab Awards
The annual Kebab wards have become something of a focus for a cluster of our local businesses and this year local eyes are focussed on four shortlisted businesses.
Selale, already an award this year for Haringey in Bloom is in the running with Gokyuzu in the best value category. Up for best customer satisfaction are Diyarkabir and Antepliler.
Like all awards, in some respects they're not to be taken too seriously, but these are four seriously good contenders who all deserve to be in the running. So my very best wishes to all four.
If you want to cast your vote for your favourite, you can do so by clicking here. It seems like the votes are advisory since the organisers say that the final decision will be made by a panel of judges. Voting closes on 4th of January 2015 and winners will be announced in the awards ceremony on the 7th January 2015.

Flame was the undisputed BEST. I was a loyal customer from the Bingol days and got to know those guys really well. They just didn't have any business acumen. Remzi has relocated to Shepherd's Bush of all places! Some family dispute. So sad - renting a place in an area where nobody gets it - just kebabs. Anyway I don't know what all the fuss about Devran is except they give out a lot of free supplementary stuff. The quality is not there in my opinion. Nothing else measures up, especially to the genuine generosity and attention to flavour. This is a sensitive subject and I look forward to people's votes!

How on earth did Antipiler end up shortlisted for customer satisfaction? While their food is amazing, the service is consistently abysmal! I speak here as a regular customer who keeps going back, but the others often wonders why I bother!

Its always Selale for us, has always been since about 2000 when it was just a tiny little cafe. yes its gone upmarket like everywhere else round here, but customer service, friendliness- near perfectly cooked kebabs- it wins
used to go to antepilliar for few years but not now- also Godzuke whatsit is good, all deserve prizes- never tried devran- but yes kebab is serious business round here, so hopefully no cheating going on by restaurants
