Last week we had Black Friday, yesterday was Cyber Monday, perhaps the biggest online day of the year, but tomorrow is Giving Tuesday - a welcome antidote to the spending sprees we’ve been encouraged to indulge in!

Let’s subvert the last few days of consumption by remembering what we have and think creatively how we could help someone else!

It does cost something to cook double the dinner and give half away, but I get your point Hugh. See this article about food sharing in Germany. Not sure elf'n'safety would allow it, but sounds great.

I tried signing up for "Streetbank", a sort of mixture of Freecycle and HoL, but was told there are '0 people offering 0 things to share' within a mile of me. So come on people, sign up!
