Collecting clothes for Kurdish Refugees

Hi everyone,

We are helping the Kurdish Community Centre collect clothes, blankets, shoes, toiletries, nappies etc. for the Kurdish refugees in Syria.

If you would like to donate anything, please bring it to Harringay Market (Kurdish Centre Portland Gardens N4) this Sunday, and we will make sure they get it.

I'm still really digesting this article but it has me of a mind to get over there and hold a rifle myself. No wonder they're protesting and no wonder they're being ignored. Could we not get a bulk deal on some of this stuff from a wholesaler in Tottenham? With their shop connections wouldn't they be better off with cash? Are they trying to send a message rather than ask for nappies?

They are currently protesting outside Westminster from Parliament Square across to the gates. Good on them for showing how toothless those anti protest laws can be.
