Google seems to have indexed this page (after just 8 minutes - quicker than I thought), so it comes up under a search for "Big Green Bookshop Financial Times", but strangely the FT doesn't. Do you have a link?

note to look at FT articles you need to be a registered user - it's free but you can only look at a small number of articles (8 i think) per month

Well done to the Friends, and well done to Pete for a great interview. I'm particularly happy about his mention of Garnett, who has been doing sterling work for years with sometimes minimal support.

Let's hope that this success will bring yet more volunteers on board and encourage more of us to step up our involvement.
