Hi local folks
I love leading fun, energising Bollywood Dance workshops. And I love doing intricate henna tattoos. I've done workshops at large community events and now I'm considering offering these activities for parties, for kids or adults.
I'm keen to know if there would be local interest. What do you think? Would you or your kids be interested? In which activity? Would it be for a weekend or weekday event? How long would you want someone to come for (one hour? two hours?). Please let me know, plus any thoughts or questions or you might have are welcome
Thanks in advance!
I think for kids yes. Used to take my daughter into Oxford Circus on a Sunday morning for Bollykids as wasnt something more local.
Thanks PinkHeartSticker. I'm not thinking of a regular class, but offering to come out for birthday parties etc. I don't know how old your daughter is but do you think her and friends would be interested in that?
Though I would consider a local regular class if there was enough interest!
She is infant school ages and kids in the class were same age or older. |'m not sure best way to gauge interest in local class. A taster session at tottenham green market or perhaps offered as an after school club at one of the many primary schools?
Hi Shilps - I had a Bollywood Dance class as part of my hen do at a dance studio in Highgate (ish). My hens hired the studio and paid a teacher to give us a taster class for an hour and it was really, really good fun - one of the best things we did that day (and we did a lot), so I'd say go for it! If I were arranging a hen do or a birthday treat or similar for a friend, it would certainly be on my list of avenues to explore.
