Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Sorry to bore as I can usually sort these things out. Keep getting told that my Dropbox is full. Have signed into my account and deleted most everything. No go. All i have in there now is some archive documents more or less. I did have everything there but deleted all the photos etc any ideas. And yes I know I can buy more space! Looked online but no answers...

When I get these messages I haven't deleted items, but move selected files out of Dropbox, into the regular environment. Dropbox does seems to recognize this and it displays the reduced percentage space used on the menu bar (on Mac OS X). Maybe it needs a day or two to update.

Thanks Clive, but I deleted the files ages ago yet it still shows 3.5G of 3.25 used?? there cant be more than 50mb in reality!

I think you may need to 'Permanently delete' the files from Dropbox. It very conveniently stores the files so you can restore them (if you accidentally deleted the files). Great little screen cast here that explains what to do better than I could: http://www.labnol.org/internet/permanent-delete-dropbox-files/19212/

Hope it helps.

Thanks will give it a go....
