Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Dishwasher - Free

We are replacing our kitchen and have an integrated Dishwasher which we are happy to give away to anyone who can come and take it. It's a good few years old but in working order.

Alternatively does anyone have any suggestions how best to recycle it?

ReStore in Tottenham may take it - they say they take washing machines, if disconnected. Worth a phone call.

They are a Good Thing, recycling furniture at low cost to those in financial need, and cheaply to others. They train people to do the restoration work. Win-win-win.

Thanks Pamish. They sound like a really good organisation. I'll give them a call.

You may wish to consider 'advertising' their services more widely on HOL with a dedicated post as I think there could be many people who would wish to support such a worthwhile cause - just a thought!
