I'm in N15, although close to Green Lanes rather than Stamford Hill, and my signal is fine at home and when I'm out.
I have problems with EE. I cant make calls downstairs, so constantly answering phone whilst running upstairs. I'm N15 nr Turnpike Lane Tube.
I'm in the process of switching to O2 or Tesco as my work phone and husbands phone work much better than mine. The other annoying things it keeps losing the 3G, so I can't use the internet or Google maps....
I am on EE pay as you go (we are just west of St Anne's Hospital 5 mins from Green Lanes) and I have had to go into the street to make calls from my mobile when we first moved here 2 years ago. I thought the house was lead lined! I have not had to do that for a long time - so for me it has improved.
My phone is fluctuating from 1 bar to 4 and back down again as I walk around. It is not as patchy as our Virgn broadband...
I moved into Langham Road in N15 earlier this year, and quickly had to switch from Virgin mobile (who use EE's network) as the signal was so bad. I've now switched to Vodafone, which is much better (always have 3G coverage, sometimes 4G) and my wife is on o2 which also works well.
