Local book (or wine) club
Hi
I am looking to join a book club to meet people in the crouch end area.
Nothing too heavy - while i'm happy to read the classics, I am just as happy with a swedish thriller or an Irish beach read. I get through a couple of books a week at times!
Would like to join a group of people who like reading pretty much anything - and ideally like to chat about it after with a glass of wine or two?
If anyone fancies starting one up instead I am open to suggestions.
A bit about me - I'm 30, I work in the west end for an events company, and just thought it would be nice to have something else to do on a weekday evening (other than coming up with excuses for not going to the gym)

Have you looked into the wonderful Big Green Bookshop in Wood Green? They've got no less than 5 book groups meeting every month! And the Tuesday evening one are doing White Tiger next, which is a terrific read.

Hi Ellie,
I have a book club which we run over the tracks in Crouch End and we would be more than happy for you to join!
About 6/8 of us meet once a month (first thursday of the month) and have a glass or two fo wine and a chat about the book.
We read a wide variety of books from classics (both well known and lesser known) to best sellers. We take it in turns to select the books so if you come along you get your choice of book soon enough :)
