Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I am was very disappointed to discover this morning that my lovely libdem stake board has gone walkabout.  It has simply vanished without trace from my front garden.

If anyone sees it looking lost please can you direct it back home.

Karen,

Any political activist competitors who may have been responsible for this ought to know, that removal of such notices is a criminal offence.

Any information that comes to light about such removal would be reported to the police.

am a prospective councillor candidate

One turned up outside another LibDem's councillor's home this morning. Believe he lives on Falkland Rd, or is it Fairfax?

Seems to me it's censorship. And politically stupid as well because for fair-minded people it will gain support for the LibDems.  Which unintended consequence is likely to be the last thing the thief wanted.

On the other hand, I entirely accept that there are some very sensitive shy people who don't like public discussions and debates and feel upset or harassed by seeing a poster for an opposing party in a window or a front garden.

In which case the proper course of action is to waste the time of the Police who will go round and issue a Prevention of Harassment Letter to the Individual displaying the poster.

We had at least 4 stolen last night - I think whoever is doing it is extremely childish. But what is strange is that they are not just pulling down but actually taking away. It just seems strange that someone would be walking down the road with labour or lib dem stake boards - must be a van or car involved!

There should be about 5 on Beresford yes it is amusing of course but a bit creepy :)

HOLers knowing my aversion to estate agents' boards and Summer Fair advertisments might suspect me.

But it wasn't

Residents actually saw a man ripping the Beresford Road ones down late at night and were quite angry about it. One residents child apparently saw from window too. It's really childish but they will go straight back up.
