I am standing for the council in St Ann's ward as a candidate for the Trade Union and Socialist Coalition (TUSC). The basic platform is for No Cuts to services and jobs. There is an alternative to the coalition austerity programme and Labour's inability to challenge the government. I am also making it very clear that I oppose the scapegoating of migrants. I've been active in the area for many, many years. I have been a candidate before, coming second to Labour. My leaflets will start going out this coming weekend. Thanks Simon, I've been checking the TUSC out and thinking of voting that way. My friend over in Archway is trying to find candidates in her area, to no avail Camden borough I think...
