The following dropped into my mailbox today:
We are delighted to announce our first public film screenings at the ArtHouse starting from Friday 21st March.
It has been a long time coming but finally we have been given the green light by various authorities to open the venue, which will ensure a rich cultural programme in a safe, friendly and stylish environment.
The ArtHouse cafe/bar will serve quality food, sourced locally, including ingredients from the ArtHouse Deli, in Tottenham Lane.
Our opening screenings include Steve McQueen's Academy Award-winning film '12 Years a Slave', 'Dallas Buyers Club' featuring award-winning performances, Wes Anderson's brilliantly inventive 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' and this Saturday morning's Kids Club film will be Disney's 'Frozen'. Check out the site for more details.
From Friday 28th March we are delighted to be showing Jonathan Glazier's 'Under the Skin' starring Scarlett Johannson.
Further film programmes will sit alongside the best of live performance, music, comedy and theatre.

Walked by Crouch end Town hall tonight (weds) - It seems to have been taken over by 'Secret Cinema' http://www.secretcinema.org/
Like the idea of a Saturday morning kids' film club.
Anybody else remember " We are the minors of the ABC " ?
Very happy about this!
And they'll do parent+baby screenings! Hoping to become a regular come autumn :)
