Hi all,
I am just wondering where does the best Turkish breakfast along Green Lanes. I've heard good things about the breakfast at Rakkas, but I'd like to know where else I should think about going.
Thanks!

Hi what is a Turkish breakfast ?
From the rakkas site:
Kaygana (Turkish style egg dish) feta cheese, organic special cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, yoghurt, honey, organic butter, double cream, tahin (sesame paste) and pekmez (grape molasses) served with bread and tea
A decent English breakfast around here would be good! I had one years ago at that café by the tube station but it's not the best of places. And no, I don't want to go to Crouch End!
Mezzo is also pretty good, I think they do English and Turkish breakfasts (and everything in between!)
I would second that!! Cafe Lemon makes a great English breakfast!
I second Park View Cafe. It's great and has Turkish options. There is a new cafe at the bottom of the tower in Woodberry Down which is a bit "Dalston Turkish" and very good too.
Although, in my humble opinion, Cafe Lemon cannot be beaten.
I am/was a big fan of cafe Lemon too but does anyone know if they've sorted out their hygiene rating? Was low enough that I didn't want to go back last time I looked :(
It seems fine to me. The kitchen is out in the open. I wonder what specifically meant that they got a bad hygiene rating?
