Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
More elderly people needed to access this lovely Club on Wednesdays and Fridays
This club is closed at the moment on Wednesdays, but will open again if there are more people accessing it. It is still open on Fridays.
My mum goes here with her carer and they play cards, bingo, have a raffle tea and chats. It is free and a life saver for my mum. She suffers from dementia, but still is fit and active and likes to engage with others of around her own age (80).
If anyone knows of any elderly person who may be isolated and need a nice place to go, this club is fantastic. Sabrina volunteers her services just to make a small difference in their lives, but struggles to get the word out to everyone who may be interested.

Age UK Haringey will be hosting, Shared Memories, a day of reminiscence and sharing experiences on Thursday 6 March 2014 between 12.00 - 2.00pm at Abyssinia Court. The event is to celebrate International Women's Day and will include music, dancing, a raffle and light refreshments. Sounds great Clem. Unfortunately my mum is at a day centre on Thursdays, but I hope you get a great turn out. Would you let people know Sabrina's number so that they can access the Happy-go-Lucky club? Many thanks.
