Refurbishment/repair of Sash Windows
Hello - any recommendations for companies or trades people for the refurbısment and repair of wooden sash windows in a Victorian terraced house would be greatly appreciated. I am located in South Tottenham. Thanks in advance.

I used Angel Sash Windows to replace one sash window with a double-glazed unit this summer. I had to chase them a bit, but they did a good job. Be warned, though - fixing sashes is an expensive process!!http://angelsashwindows.co.uk/

Dear Nigel, I had my three big sash windows replaced with double glazed and K glass (which keeps the sun's heat in) units (not the frames but the sashes), by the Original Box Sash Window Company. They are not local and not cheap but did an excellent job. I think they are a profit share company.
Local joiners can also do new double glazed sashes.
