TODAY at the Salisbury Pub on the corner of Green Lanes and St Anns, 12:30 - 4pm
and
TOMORROW at the Harringay Market, 11am - 2pm
Come on, its a good excuse to spend the afternoon at the pub. And its not just for kids, come along and make a really big lantern over a beer and pub food. We have the whole front bar this year...

Yes, so many people!Making more lights now and will have replenished the stocks for the workshop tomorrow so do all come along to the Harringay Market tomorrow and make a lantern.
We ran out of everything, had more than double the number of lights than last year and they're all gone, and ran out of willow sticks which i wasn't expecting. Then just to add to the excitement near the end had a phone call for from Falkland Rd to say the NHP chickens had escaped! And the chicken men (Matt and David Schmitz) were down at the pub making lanterns! (did you manage to catch them?)Much thanks to the lantern tutors: Petra, Allie, and Julie, they must be tired now. Thanks so much for all your efforts. Great fun! I've got a very happy daughter with a fabulous lantern, who can't wait to show it off at the parade next Sunday!
