Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

why don't the organisers of fairs etc state whether there is an entrance charge or not - some do but many don''t   for instance, St Paul's and Crouch End Festival?

I guess people are doing their best, but thanks for the feedback; I'm sure it'll serve as a useful reminder of what info people find useful.

There is no entrance fee for the St. Paul's Christmas Bazaar (which is tomorrow, 12-4pm).  If there were, we would definitely put it on the publicity.  Incidentally, our posters do explicitly state "free admission" on them.

With my personal hat on (as opposed to my organist at St. Paul's hat), I would usually assume there is no entrance unless it is stated that there is one.

you cannot always assume this. having been involved in very many local and international events, often as organiser, I pass on info but do not like to do so to families if there is an entrance fee for their numerous children!

Ditto for the Harringay Lantern parade and night market on the December the 8th and the lantern making workshops on the 30th Nov (tomorrow) and 1st Dec (this Sunday). Free Free Free!

The Crouch End Festival Craft Fair on Saturday 14  December is also free - it's part of a campaign to promote local shopping.
