I've used http://www.theloftboys.co.uk/ - they came around and gave a free quote and they did a good clean tidy quick job

I've not had that problem myself but I asked someone who had. Big old tanks are apparently a problem. They can be cut up with flame torches, but it's a fire risk, so most people just leave them in place if they can. But they do take up a lot of space, unless you choose to treat it like a big storage box!
