Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Does anyone know anywhere local (ish) that could replace a zip in a boot?

Is the only thing wrong with them so don't want to just chuck them.

There's a brilliant leather repair shop directly opposite Wickes on seven sisters road. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the shop! I'll get back to you. They have rescued my favourite boots on more than one occasion, most recently adding a patch and a stitch which is invisibe for a tenner. Very cheap, really friendly too. I can't recommend them highly enough. Now...if I could only remember the name!

really? I walk past it every day and wondered if it's any good - so good to know! it's also a dry cleaners if I am not mistaken...?

That's the one Celia! Really good, old fashioned and friendly. Lovely hand written receipt and a phone call when the repair is done.

There's also a shoe repair / key cutting shed-sized shop under the railway bridge on West Green Road, the Seven Sisters end.  He's rescued some of my shoes.  41 bus from Turnpike Lane will take you past.

There's a place at the start of westbury ave opposite the station cafe. Really nice man who does a great job on shoes and bags.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated.
