Loft insulation

Has anyone had a loft insulated recently please? Is there a firm that's recommended please?

We wouldn't qualify for the grants.

Hi, I'm a 'Superhomer' (http://www.superhomes.org.uk/156) and open tomorrow (74 Amhurst Rd Hackney).

But you don't need to come to that to answer this question. I'd recommend http://ghse.co/ - Greener Homes South East. Their website is terrible (!) but they do a good job of insulating lofts. It's run by a guy called Mark Whittam, whom I'd recommend. They can also install a raised deck to allow you to use the loft for storage - www.loftzone.co.uk - if you want.
