Recomendations for buying a car in the area.
Hi, I have recently passed my driving test and am looking to buy a car. Any suggestions of anywhere local and reliable for used cars. Thanks.

There is a garage on Hornsey High Street that seems to have reasonably priced second hand cars. I am thinking of going there myself. It is by the cafe called Italica (best coffee in the area). It is almost opposite the Grieg Academy. Good luck!

Congratulations. But take an experienced driver along with you - it's so easy to be carried away by " I want it now ".
I got my last car from Cargiant ( www.cargiant.co.uk ) who are not local but in Acton. But they have thousands of cars you can look at on line and they do have a good reputation.

Thanks everyone. I will try both the one on Hornsey High Street and Cargiant. I have been checking on Autotrader. Its good to get recommendations from experienced buyers though.
